Southlake Youth Action Commission

PURPOSE

The Southlake Youth Action Commission (SYAC) was created in 1994 to generate broad-based public awareness and support for youth.  This group was formed to act as the formal "Voice of Youth" in Southlake to bring issues to the City Council. SYAC also serves as a vehicle to familiarize the youth of Southlake with the governance process in Local Government.

The mission of the Southlake Youth Action Commission (SYAC) is to inspire students to recognize their own potential and instill confidence to take an idea through the entire process of implementation.

MEETINGS

Meeting are generally held on the first Wednesday of each month during the school year.
