DFW Connector

The DFW Connector is a Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) project that will improve traffic flow and reduce congestion around the DFW airport. This is an extensive transportation project that includes improvements along SH114 in Southlake. This project is anticipated to continue over a 5 year period.

Phase IA of the project which is to the east of Main Street in Grapevine began in February 2010. This phase of the project is expected to take 550 days to complete.

Utility relocations are currently underway between SH114 and Southlake Boulevard for the Southlake portion of the DFW Connector project for which construction is anticipated to begin in 2011.
