April 1, 2008: Connect-CTY Launch Call
"Hi this is Mayor Andy Wambsganss calling to introduce you to our new Connect-CTY
mass notification service. We will utilize this service to call you about important issues
affecting all Southlake residents.
Future messages may contain breaking news like severe weather warnings or when a
child is missing. It also will keep you informed about City events such as SPIN meetings
or street closings in your area. If you would like to receive future Connect-CTY messages
at a different phone or wish to add alternate phone numbers or email addresses, please

April 11, 2008: Storm debris pickup by Duncan Disposal
"Good morning, this is Alison Ortowski from the City of Southlake with a message to let
you know that if you received storm damage and have downed tree limbs or other debris
that you need to dispose of, the City's solid waste service provider, Duncan Disposal can help.
As a customer, you are entitled to 3 free bulk pickups per year - all you need to do is call
Duncan at 817-317-2424 to request a pickup or visit the City's website, cityofsouthlake.com
and click on "Latest News" for instructions on requesting a pickup online.

April 22, 2008: 4-28-08 SPIN meeting notification to SPINs 5, 6, 8 & 10
"Good afternoon, this is Alison Ortowski from the City of Southlake with a message about
upcoming SPIN meetings concerning developments in or near your SPIN district.
On Monday, April 28 beginning at 6:30PM and 7:30PM, SPIN 6 will host two Citywide Forums
regarding proposed office developments on Hwy 114. One development is located on the
Northwest corner of 114 and Carroll Boulevard and the other is located at 1900 E. Hwy 114.

April 28, 2008: Election Information
"Hello, this is Southlake City Secretary Lori Payne with information about City elections.
Early voting begins today, April 28 and runs through May 6. During early voting, you can vote at
any polling location anywhere in Tarrant County. In Southlake, the polling location is
outhlake Town Hall.
On Election Day, Saturday - May 10, voting will only occur at Southlake Town Hall from
7:00 to 7:00. Please make a note of this as past elections have been held at school facilities.

May 5, 2008: 5-12-08 SPIN Meeting Notifications to SPINs 13, 14, 15, and 16
Good afternoon, this is Alison Ortowski from the City of Southlake with a message about an
upcoming SPIN meeting concerning a development in or near your SPIN district. On Monday,
May 12 beginning at 6:30PM, SPIN 13 will host a Citywide Forum regarding a proposed
11,785 sq. ft. one story children's and adult education building to be constructed behind the
existing meeting building of the Southlake Boulevard Presbyterian Church located at
1452 W. Southlake Boulevard.
