Proclamation - Eagle Scout Cody Fullmer Day

 

Boy Scouting's highest honor is achieving the Eagle Scout Award and only 1% of all scouts ever achieve this rank; and,

 

Whereas, On June 6, 2008, Boy Scout Cody Fullmer  from Troop 402, will be recognized by the Boy Scouts of America for successfully completing all requirements for Scouting's highest rank; and,

 

Whereas, Cody has received 2 Duty to God awards from the LDS Church and is a member of the Order of the Arrow.  He completed the Philmont in New Mexico. For his Eagle Scout Project, Cody constructed and installed picnic tables at Mission Arlington Community Church; and,

 

Whereas, The Eagle Scout Award is the highest form of recognition in the Boy Scouts of America and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment.  Having completed the requirements for, and having been examined by an Eagle Scout Board Review, Cody Fullmer was found worthy of the rank of Eagle Scout; and,

 

Therefore, I, Mayor Andy Wambsganss, on behalf of the City Council, in recognition of Cody Fullmer's outstanding achievements and superior spirit of service to his community, do hereby proclaim June 6, 2008 as
