Eagle Scout Cameron Cutler

Boy Scouting's highest honor is achieving the Eagle Scout Award and only 1% of all scouts ever achieve this rank; and,

Whereas, On December 27, 2009, Boy Scout Cameron Cutler from Troop 928, will be recognized by the Boy Scouts of America for successfully completing all requirements for Scouting's highest rank; and,

Whereas, one of the major objectives in the Scouting program is to develop citizenship through community involvement, and in addition to working for citizenship merit badges, Scouts are encouraged to participate in community service projects. For his Eagle Scout Project, Cameron worked on building three bat houses at the Bob Jones Nature Center in Southlake, Texas; and,

Whereas, The Eagle Scout Award is the highest form of recognition in the Boy Scouts of America and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment. Having completed the requirements for, and having been examined by an Eagle Scout Board Review, Cameron Cutler was found worthy of the rank of Eagle Scout; now,

Therefore, I, Mayor John Terrell, on behalf of the City Council, in recognition of Cameron Cutler's outstanding achievements and superior spirit of service to his community, do hereby proclaim December 27, 2009, as
