Proclamation - Eagle Scout Ryan Andrew Cox Hauser Day

 

Boy Scouting's highest honor is achieving the Eagle Scout Award and only 1% of all scouts ever achieve this rank; and,

 

Whereas, On May 29, 2008, Boy Scout Ryan Andrew Cox Hauser  from Troop 507, was recognized by the Boy Scouts of America for successfully completing all requirements for Scouting's highest rank; and,

 

Whereas, Ryan has earned 37 merit badges and has performed leadership roles as Historian, Assistant Patrol Leader, Patrol Leader, Den Chief, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader and Senior Patrol Leader.  He is also a member of the "Order of the Arrow". For his Eagle Scout project, Ryan helped in refurbishing the 50' long footbridge at Camp Burnett and in improving the local trail to the bridge; and,

 

Whereas, the Eagle Scout Award is the highest form of recognition in the Boy Scouts of America and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment.  Having completed the requirements for, and having been examined by an Eagle Scout Board Review, Ryan Andrew Cox Hauser was found worthy of the rank of Eagle Scout; now,

 

Therefore, I, Mayor Andy Wambsganss, on behalf of the City Council, in recognition of Ryan Andrew Cox Hauser's outstanding achievements and superior spirit of service to his community, do hereby proclaim May 29, 2008 as
