Proclamation - Eagle Scout Scott Edward Smith Day
Boy Scouting's highest honor is achieving the Eagle Scout Award and only 1% of all scouts ever achieve this rank; and,
Whereas, On August 2, 2008, Boy Scout Scott Edward Smith, from Troop 928, will be recognized by the Boy Scouts of America for successfully completing all requirements for Scouting's highest rank; and,
Whereas, Scott has earned 35 merit badges and has served as Historian, Troop Guide, Patrol Leader and Assistant Patrol Leader. For his Eagle Scout Project, Scott constructed a 10 x 12 storage building for
Whereas, The Eagle Scout Award is the highest form of recognition in the Boy Scouts of America and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment. Having completed the requirements for, and having been examined by an Eagle Scout Board Review, Scott Edward Smith was found worthy of the rank of Eagle Scout; and,
