Christmas Tree Recycling Program
Don't throw away your real Christmas tree! Instead, recycle it! By recylcing your tree, you save valuable landfill space and real Christmas trees are biodegradable, which means they can be easily reused or recycled for mulch and other purposes.
Don't feed your Christmas Tree to the landfill. Recycle it! The City of Southlake will turn the trees into wood chips. Just drop your bare tree (no decorations or bases please) at Bicentennial Park and the City will do the rest!
PROGRAM DATES: Saturday, December 22, 2007 - Friday, January 11, 2008
LOCATION: Bicentennial Park - 450 W. Southlake Blvd.
WOOD CHIPS AVAILABLE TO SOUTHLAKE RESIDENTS: Saturday, January 12, 2008 at 12 noon. Please remember chips will be available on a first come, first served basis. Bring shovels or containers to collect the mulch.
