Welcome to Southlake Programs!
The City of Southlake offers a variety of programs for the residents of Southlake.
HOLIDAY FUN FOR PRE-SCHOOLERS:
Join us for tons of holiday fun! Children will enjoy four hours of games, arts and crafts, and lots of surprises in a well supervised environment. Pizza, juice boxes, and a special treat will be provided. Parents are not required to attend. Children will be supervised in a 1:5 ratio. Pre-registration is required for all activities listed below.
- Creative Cupids - Saturday prior to Valentine's Day
- Egg-tacular - Saturday prior to Easter
- Spooktacular - third Saturday in October, Page 4 in Southlake Scene
- Santa's Workshop - first Saturday in December, , Page 4 in Southlake Scene
ATHLETICS FOR PRE-SCHOOLERS:
- The Mini Huddle: Through fun, interactive drills and exercises, boys and girls will be introduced to the fundamentals of flag football such as passing, rushing, receiving and some defense.
- Mini Dribblers: Back by popular demand!! Through interactive, hands-on drills and activities, boys and girls will learn dribbling, shooting, passing, and some defense.
- Mini Spikers- Let Southlake Parks and Recreation teach your child the fundamentals of volleyball!
YOUTH PROGRAMS:
- Southlake Saturday Nite (six per school year: three in Fall and three in Spring) for 4th, 5th and 6th graders
- Late Nite Fridays (six per school year: three in Fall and three in Spring) for teens ages 12-15.

Camp Mania - two times per year (Spring & Summer):
- Spring Break Camp Mania
- Summer Camp Mania - Nine, one week sessions in the Summer

Teen Scene - Summer:
- Summer Teen Scene - Eight, one week sessions in the Summer
OUTDOOR PROGRAMS:
- Outdoor Hiking Adventure Trips- (page 6) Get out and enjoy the great outdoors with Southlake Parks and Recreation. Beginners to experts welcome on all trips!
- Geocaching- Geocaching is a real-world outdoor treasure hunting game. Players try to locate the hidden treasures, called geocaches, with a GPS device. There are several geocaches hidden within Southlake's many parks. Check out www.geocaching.com and search for caches hidden by SLParksRec to complete the Southlake Parks and Recreation Geocaching Series.
- Bicentennial Park Scavenger Hunt-- (page 6) Begins Oct 1st!!! We want Southlake residents to go see the new improvements at Bicentennial Park. Check back Oct 1 for questions, rules and prizes!
