FAQs
Q - Do I have to be a resident of Southlake to participate in Southlake programs or to be a member of the Southlake Senior Activity Center.
A - No!  Participation is open all on a first-come, first-served basis.  Please note classes may have a limited enrollment and a registration deadline.  Fees must paid in full at time of registration.

Q - How do I find out about the many activities offered by the City of Southlake?
A - The City produces a brochure called the Southlake Scene (see "Quick Links" above) that lists all the Recreation programs, classes, activities and athletics the City offers.

Q - When is the Southlake Scene released?
A - The Southlake Scene is mailed out to all Southlake residents three times each year on April 1, August 1, and December 1.  Registration begins on those days.  The
Southlake Scene is also available online.

Q - How can I register for Recreation programs and classes online?
A - Please visit the online registration website, http://activenet.active.com/southlake.  Please note that phone or fax registrations are not accepted.

Q - Does it cost anything to join the Southlake Senior Activity Center?
A - No!  Membership is voluntary and free!  Activities are open to both members and non-members.  Registration forms are available at the Center.

Q - What is the difference between Division I and Division II athletics?
A - Division I is a team league. Coaches sign up an entire team and are responsible for their own jerseys. The Parks and Recreation Department does NOT add individual players to Division I teams. Division II is an individual league. Players sign up and pay as individuals and are placed on a team. Volunteer coaches are needed for this league.
