DPS Headquarters

DPS Headquarters officially opened its doors on January 8, 2010.  The 85,000 plus square foot facility is now the home of three shifts of firefighters, fire command staff, fire administration, as well as several branches of police services including CID, records, and Police command staff and administration.

The first and third floors are the new home of Southlake's Municipal Court and Metroport Teen Court.  The court clerks will office on the first floor.  Judge Carol Montgomery and the courtroom can be found on the third floor when the court moves from Town Hall in mid-February.

The $29,000,000 building was financed through the half cent sales tax approved by Southlake residents and administered by the Crime Control Prevention District Board.  The other half-penny helps finance the city's park improvements.  The building was designed by Robert Garza of RPGA Architects and was built by Lee Lewis Construction Inc.

The building's address is 600 State Street just off of Carroll Avenue and Division.  Please note that Police and Municipal Court entrance can be found at the front of the building.  The entrance to Fire Services can be found on Division.

Please find below the Grand Opening Dedication Ceremony video produced for the City by Our Great City.
