Vision & Mission
The vision of Finance is to provide exemplary service and performance in attaining shared goals and objectives for the organization and community through teamwork, maximization of resources, efficient and effective processes, and technological advances while maintaining the financial integrity of the City.
The mission of the Finance Department is to facilitate accountability of City's funds and other assets entrusted to the City and provide financial information to enable decision-making that will ensure the City's financial sustainability while providing exemplary service to our internal and exteranl customers by:
- Effective Financial Master Planning;
- Benchmark program to monitor department effectiveness and efficiency;
- Increased customer satisfaction with technology-based services;
- Provide accurate and timely information to assure organization integrity;
- Provide professional and courteous customer service to internal and external customers;
- Maintain or improve the City's bond rating.
Divisions
The Southlake Finance Department is divided into several major divisions. The divisions are Finance Administration, Municipal Court, Teen Court, and Utility Billing. There are also some areas of special interest related to the City's budget, purchasing process, and fleet services.

Off-Duty Services. Requests for off-duty services are processed through DPS Department.
