It is Tax Season Again and Your Southlake Library Can Help!
SPL makes free tax forms available to citizens through the Internal Revenue Service Tax Forms Outlet Program. Find stocks of the most common forms in the Reference area or we can print forms from the IRS website,www.irs.gov. The Library staff cannot offer tax advice.
AARP volunteers will be in the library between February 2nd and April 12th to help people file their income taxes electronically. AARP is an independent organization and the Library only allows tax preparation by this nationally recognized program. We schedule appointments for Thursday evenings between 3:00 and 6:00 at one hour intervals. This is a very popular service and spaces are filling quickly; call 817-748-8247 to schedule your appointment.
Tax volunteers are at Southlake Senior Center Monday mornings from 9:00 to 1:00 and also at many other locations. Call us for more information.
Text Your Librarian - This free service allows you to send questions and comments to your librarians from the convenience of your phone. You can ask reference questions, general library questions, request material holds, renew materials, and so much more. Send a message to the link above for more information.
Free Wireless Internet is available at the Southlake Public Library, in Town Square, and at Bob Jones Park, Bicentennial Park, and the Southlake Sports Complex.
