Personal Finance Series - Edward Jones Financial Advisor, Scott Losack, is providing free personal finance seminars in partnership with the Library. The seminars are provided on the first Thursday of the month in the 3rd Floor meeting rooms of Town Hall. |

Chick-fil-A Story Time happens every second Friday of the month at Chick-fil-A in Southlake. Free breakfast is provided to the children who attend and there are prizes too. Ms. Cynthia or Ms. Elizabeth come from the Library to lead the children in songs and share a story. The next event is Friday, September 10th, at 9:30 a.m. Come early to eat before the program. |

Images of America: Southlake is the title of the new book written by local author Connie Cooley and the Southlake Historical Society. The book tells the history of our area from 1840 to 1970 and includes over 170 maps and photographs. Visit the Southlake Historical Society website for purchasing information. |

Tarrant Area Pet Food Bank has a donation box at the Southlake Public Library. You can drop off your donations of canned or dry cat or dog food, as well as, pellets and boxed food for smaller domestic pets beginning March 3, 2010. |

- Text-a-Librarian - Now you can text your comments, questions, hold requests, or materials suggestions directly to your Southlake librarians. Your text will come to us as an email and our response will come back to you as a text. Stop by the Library to get the information you need to get started today.
- Toll Tags - Pick up your new Toll Tag in the Library.
- Library ELF - Southlake Public Library can now track what is due, overdue, or ready for pickup at the Library through this, now free, Internet-based program. You can register for the service at the Library Elf website by locating the Southlake Public Library under the List of Libraries.

Southlake Community Wiki - This searchable listing includes contact information for area art museums, childcare services, entertainment venues, governmental information, volunteer opportunities, and much more. The wiki is an on-going work in progress, so be sure to check back often.
