Volunteering at the Southlake Public Library
Volunteers are a critical part of the Library's success. If you are between the ages of 12 and 18, you may help by shelving books, assisting with special projects and events, making copies, etc.
Stop by the Circulation Desk to pick up an application. After you’ve completed and returned it, you may schedule your first volunteer session.
Volunteers must follow the policies set by the Library, which include:
- The Library believes that it is very important to offer flexible work opportunities to our volunteers, but it is necessary that we be given 24 hour notice when scheduling your hours, and Saturday hours are by approval only, so we can place you where we have the greatest need.
- Your attitude and attire should reflect your pride in volunteering for the City of Southlake.
If you have any questions or would like more information, please call Nicola Jesse, our Volunteer Coordinator, at 817-748-8244.
