Sector Planning

The city has been divided into 8 sectors (areas) to facilitate the planning process.  The purpose of a sector plan is to establish a detailed background for the planning area, identify current development constraints and issues, identify features, resources, and areas to be protected or improved, explore development opportunities within the study area, and make recommendations for the future development of the area.  The Land Use Plan Committee will oversee the development of the sector plans and they are currently working on the North Sector and West Sector.  The committee is expected to begin work on the South Sector Plan in late March or early April.
