Traffic Count Reports

Every year, the Planning and Development Services Department prepares a Traffic Count Report to provide information regarding traffic volumes on roadways in the city. The main purpose of this report is to serve as a snapshot of the traffic volume conditions at a fixed point in time.

Traffic counts are taken in late April and/or early May every year and the annual report is generally available by August.  Questions about the report should be directed to the Department of Planning and Development Services at (817) 748-8069.  The following is a listing of currently available reports, which are downloadable with Adobe Reader:

Regional Traffic Counts

The North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) maintains a listing of traffic counts provided by the Texas Department of Transportation and municipalities throughout the Dallas Fort Worth region.  More information is available on NCTCOG's Traffic Count Information System Website.
