The Southlake DPS Citizen's Academy starts February 21, 2008!
The DPS Citizens's Academy kicks off Thursday, February 21 at 6:30 pm. This exciting and educational program is a great way to learn about the Southlake Department of Public Safety and to make new friends. We have moved!
Police Services have moved from their station located at 667 North Carroll Ave. The move is a temporary one that will last around two years while the new Public Safety facility is constructed at the same address. The Police Chief, Patrol and Community Initiatives will be located at 1101 North Carroll. For more information on the move please read the press release.
For all public needs including fingerprinting, house watch, gun locks, records requests and accident reports please visit the DPS West station located at 2100 W. Southlake Blvd or call 817-748-8114.
Smoking Ordinance
On June 1, 2007 the revised Southlake's Smoking Ordinance went into effect. The ordinance bans smoking within 12 feet of any public entrance or exit. The ban also extends to hotel rooms and outdoor eating patios. Southlake's DPS Community Initiatives unit has also produced two downloadable educational brochures for visitors and businesses.
