Southlake Police Services is a division within the Southlake Department of Public Safety.  Under the leadership of Chief Wade Goolsby and Captain Rusty Daniels, the department staffs 56 sworn officers and five civilian employees.  The agency obtained national accreditation status in March 2000, and maintains that honor to date. 

In its pursuit of professionalism, Southlake Police Services focuses on the City's core values: Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork.  To promote those core values, Police Services operates with four major divisions: Patrol, Criminal Investigations, Professional Standards, and Community Initiatives. These four groups encompass specialty areas in each division:
