Warrant Officer

The Warrant Officer is responsible for follow-up on all outstanding arrest warrants issued by the Department, including outstanding traffic warrants.  He is responsible for tracking fugitives and executing subpoenas for the Court.   In addition, the Warrant Officer serves as Bailiff for the Southlake Municipal Court, maintaining security and decorum for the Municipal Court.

Question: What if an arrest warrant has been issued for me?

In order for a municipal warrant to be cleared, full payment must be received. No requests for dismissals, deferred disposition, or driving safety course will be processed at the window. Once the Warrant Officer makes an arrest, the individual must be processed through the jail. For this reason, it is best to take care of a citation before a warrant is issued.

If you are arrested for a county warrant (offenses of a grade higher than traffic tickets), you must post a bond to be released from jail. If you know you have a warrant for your arrest, contact the Warrant Officer and arrange to turn yourself in to authorities.  Questions concerning warrants should be directed to Corporal Jeff Paul at 817-748-8209.
