Q:  I need to get a water/sewer tap made.

A water tap needed on the same side of the street as the water line is a short-side tap and costs $850. A water tap needed on the opposite side of the street from the water line is a long-side tap and costs $1675.00 The City, as a matter of policy, does not make sewer taps. The property owner will need to contract with a licensed plumber for this service.
