The Public Works Department provides vital public services through planning, engineering, constructing, operating and maintaining the public infrastructure.
The Public Works Department consists of five divisions which oversee Administration & Engineering Services, Streets & Drainage Maintenance, Water Distribution & Maintenance, Wastewater collection and Stormwater Utility. The Public Works Department works to ensure high quality commercial and residential development, promote mobility throughout the City and provide a high degree of customer service and satisfaction.

Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. For after hours emergency water breaks and wastewater backup calls please contact Police Dispatch at 817-743-4524.
