About Special Events
Southlake hosts many annual special events for the community. These events honor the tradition of Southlake and bring new excitement each year. There is something for everyone in the family to enjoy, including entertainment crafts, activities, vendor booths and concessions. Several events are held in the nationally renowned Southlake Town Square, giving attendees the opportunity to shop and dine before or after the celebration. 
 

Southlake Summer Kickoff- May 18 Join the City of Southlake Community Services Department for a fun-filled day to kick off summer! At this event you will be able to register for Parks and Recreation summer programs and sign-up for the Library's annual Summer Reading Club. Activities include: Southlake Recreation program registration, Southlake Library's annual Summer Reading Club sign-up, inflatables, live entertainment, concessions and much more! Southlake Stars and Stripes- July 3 Join the City of Southlake for an evening of family fun, great food, patriotic music and a spectacular fireworks show. There will be fun for the whole family! Activities include: Patriotic Ceremony, Fireworks, Live Music, Concessions, Kid Zone, Activity Booths, Strolling Entertainment and much more!
