Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone Board
Purpose

The purpose of the Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone (TIRZ) No. 1 Board is to oversee the project and financing plan for Southlake's Tax Increment Financing District known as the Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone No. 1. The TIRZ No. 1 Board is made up of 12 members whose appointment is established in the TIRZ Bylaws which outline that eight members are appointed by the City Council, with one of those positions named by Carroll Independent School District. The remaining four positions are appointed by each of the taxing units that participate in the TIRZ No. 1 District (Tarrant County, Tarrant County Hospital District, and Tarrant County College).
