Fire Operations
The responsibility of the Operations Division is to utilize the Department's human resources and apparatus to deliver a wide variety of emergency and non-emergency services.
Emergency services include: fire suppression, advanced life support, medical treatment, patient transportation, specialized rescue operations, hazardous materials incident mitigation, and response to weather-related emergencies. Primary non-emergency services include: fire prevention inspections and public fire safety education programs.Services is prepared to deliver these services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, under any conditions.
Fire Services Operations provides fire safety education and information to help protect and enhance the quality of life for citizens in Southlake. Public education is one of the major vehicles that increases community awareness and the department's visibility within the community through fire safety education programs, public CPR classes, and our direct participation in community events and safety/health fairs.
