Job Summary: The purpose of this position is to manage and supervise teh Department of Human Resources. The Human Resources department is responsible for developing, maintaining and monitoring HR programs and functions including employee pay, benefits, employee relations, position classification, recruitment, training, personnel records management, payroll and policy development. Education: Minimum of a Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Resources or similar field is required. A Masters degree is preferred.
Experience: A minimum of four (4) years of increasingly responsible human resources experience, including two (2) years of administrative and supervisory responsibility, although any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying.
Certificates & Other Requirements: Certification as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) is preferred.
Salary: Starting salary will be market competitive depending upon the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate.
