Uncover The Secret World of Math With Timarron College Preparatory
Come crack the code to having fun with math! Hosted by Southlake’s Timarron College Preparatory, Detective Digit (Bobbie Morton) and her sleuth partners (Kristy Smith and Claudia Bolanos) will take young learners on an adventure as they explore math concepts through a life-size board game. Students will be taught the concepts of addition, subtraction, multiplication/division with whole numbers, fractions, decimals and percentages. Each topic is thoroughly investigated as clues are revealed to solve math mysteries. Detectives earn a top-secret reward for each successful assignment.
This program is designed for students in fourth through sixth grades and will typically take place the 3rd Friday of the month at 4:30 p.m. in the Library.
