Economic Development and Tourism Plan
The Economic Development and Tourism Plan is a new comprehensive plan element added during the development of the Southlake 2030 Plan. The goal of the Economic Development and Tourism Plan is to provide a unique economic development strategy for Southlake that will support existing businesses, attract new businesses, and contribute to the economic sustainability of the community. The plan took approximately 9 months to complete, beginning with the first meeting of the Economic Development and Tourism (ED&T) Plan Committee on May 3, 2010 and concluding with City Council adoption on February 15, 2011. The final plan document, including the adopting ordinance, is now available:
