Public Education

The Southlake Police Department has many crime prevention and public education programs designed to inform and engage the public.

Some of those programs include crime prevention tips, how to contact your neighborhood police officer or District Sergeant, neighborhood watch, how to become a part of our Southlake Citizens Academy and serve as a volunteer with the police and fire departments just to name a few of the many opportunities.

Our public education team arranges tours of the police and fire departments with girls and boys scouts and other groups. They also arrange to have police officers and firefighters give safety presentations to various age groups at Carroll ISD schools and daycares with age appropriate children.

The programs are listed on the left and we encourage you to explore and learn more about which program interests you.
