Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation - CPR

Get trained in CPR

The Southlake Fire Department is a certified American Heart Association training site and teaches classes to the public. The department uses the American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR/AED certification course.

The course is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches adult, child and infant CPR and AED use, as well as how to relieve choking. This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory or other requirements.  The class does not include first aid and does not work for those in the medical profession.  The classes are held on the third Saturday of each month from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at our DPS HQ located at 600 State Street.

If you would like to register for a class please contact Renni Burt at 817-748-8349 or by email at [email protected]
