The Southlake Library offers two small study rooms and one meeting room for public use. The study rooms can hold 1-4 people, and the meeting room can accommodate 8-10 people. A Southlake Library card is required to reserve rooms in advance. Rooms can be reserved for 2-hour periods. There is a limit of two future reservations at a time, and reservations are only accepted for up to two weeks in advance. Call (817) 748-8247 to make a reservation.
The Southlake Library provides access to ten public computers and free wifi. Computer access is available daily in the Library and provides web browsing, Microsoft Office, and limited Adobe Creative Suite products.
The Southlake Library offers color and black and white printing for the public. There is a $0.15 fee for black and white copies and a $0.50 fee for color copies. Faxing is free, but there is a $0.15 fee for a confirmation report. Scanning is available at no charge.
The Library offers limited notary services. Notarization of complex documents such as wills, foreign visa applications, I-9, or real estate transactions is not provided. The Library offers limited proctoring services. This service is provided for free to Southlake residents and at a fee of $25.00 per exam to nonresidents. Universities must first register with the Southlake Library, and the student must connect with the Adult Services Librarian to schedule test proctoring in advance.
