Every ten years, the United States Census Bureau conducts a nationwide headcount. The census is mandated by the Constitution and is a colossal effort that provides data for government representation, redistricting, and potential funding for vital programs such as education, transportation, employment, and health care.
In mid-March, homes in Southlake and across the country will receive an invitation to complete the 2020 Census by phone, by mail, or online. For most of the United States, this kicks off the census count. Curious about what the census questions? Take a look at this sample questionnaire for more information.
