The Friends of Southlake Library (FOSL) hosts an ongoing book sale in the Library throughout the year to support Library programs and materials. Every dollar raised by the book sale goes into making your Library better. The suggested donation amount for paperback books is $1.00 each, and the suggested donation for hardback books or movies is $2.00 each. Watch for new items every week!
How can you help?
You can help by donating gently used books and DVDs to the Library by dropping them off with the staff at the Circulation Desk. Materials are reviewed by Library staff for Library needs, and FOSL sells any materials not added to the collection in the book sale.
Friends of the Southlake Library (FOSL) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the needs of the Southlake Public Library. The group raises money for specific needs and generally promotes the use and support of the Library. Activities include book sales, book and periodical adoption drives, and other fund-raisers. FOSL is a title sponsor of the Southlake Summer Reading program each year and is instrumental in making it successful and exciting. They have also provided over 2,000 DVDs and children's materials to the Library.
FOSL is open to community members for $15 per year. Join by contacting Ailene Tubbesing.
