The Information Technology Quality Management System ensures that best of class services are delivered and managed within the City's value framework.  IT leverages industry standards for IT service management, compliance, and continuous process improvement.  The IT department tracks many metrics to produce a balanced scorecard demonstrating proven performance.
 

Governance

 
The purpose of the IT Governance Committee (ITGC) is to direct IT initiatives that are:

• Aligned with the City’s strategy map
• Delivering expected benefits
• Acting as an enabler to the City
• Properly managing resources (human capital and systems)
• Providing appropriate risk management

In IT we strive to partner with our customers to provide cost-effective solutions whether through technology or process improvement.  Under the guidance of the IT Governance Committee, these results are not only consistent but foster higher levels of acceptance and engagement.
