Library Books

We Can Help You Find the Book You've Been Looking For!

The Southlake Library offers over 44,000 titles of books, audiobooks, magazines, CDs, and movies. But, if you do not find the item you are seeking, reach out to us and let us help you.

Hold Request

You can request that we hold a book from our collection for you. Please search for the title in our Catalog, Select Place Hold, and log in with your library card number to submit the request. If you need assistance, please call us at (817) 748-8247.

Purchase Request

If you are looking for an item that has been published or released within the last two years, please make a purchase request to the Library. There is no guarantee that we will add the item to the collection, but we will review it for purchase. If it is not selected for purchase, we can make a recommendation for an interlibrary loan.

Interlibrary Loan

If you are looking for an item that has been published or released more than two years ago, please make an interlibrary loan request. This free service provides access to collections of participating libraries across the country. Complete the Interlibrary Loan Form to make your request, and we will contact you when your item is available. If you need to renew your item, please provide at least five days' notice before the due date for that process.
