Brush and Bulk Disposal

Many common household items contain chemicals that can create environmental hazards if not handled properly. These wastes include televisions, computers, large kitchen appliances, needles/syringes, prescription/non-prescription drugs, and paints. Use the search box to learn how to safely handle and recycle or dispose of these more common household hazardous wastes. Brush Pickup

Republic Services offers unbundled brush collection for Southlake residents. This service is offered for up to 12 cubic yards annually at no charge, after this Republic Services will provide a quote and send you a bill for the amount in excess of the 12 cubic yards. This pickup must be scheduled with Republic Services by calling (817) 317-2424.

Residents who have more than 12 cubic yards of brush that do not want to pay an additional fee may bundle their brush in lengths of no more than four feet and no more than fifty pounds, and place two cubic yards out per collection day (following guidelines under Bulk Pickup).

Bulk Pickup

Republic offers bulk collection for Southlake residents. Residents may place up to two cubic yards of bulk waste out per collection day for removal. Bulk items include: bundled brush and tree trimmings that are no more than four feet and not heavier than fifty pounds, discarded furniture or appliances (not containing freon), wooden fence panels (panels need to be cut in half not to exceed four feet in length) or small amounts of discarded construction materials not to exceed the equivalent of two thirty-five gallon sized plastic bags or corrugated boxes.
 
Please note that this does not include unbundled brush, stable matter or manure, rocks, bricks, concrete, floor tiles, roofing materials or other materials too heavy to be placed in bags.

Community Cardboard Collection (C3)

Residents can now recycle cardboard and paper products ONLY in the C3 dumpsters located at Bicentennial Park. The front of the dumpsters is equipped with slits for easy disposal of broken-down boxes and paper products. Residents will have 24/7 access to these dumpsters in a safe, monitored location.

They are located on the east side of Bicentennial Park between the tennis courts and the operations building of the community services department, or at 200 Unity Way Southlake, Texas 76092.
