The City of Southlake’s Traffic Management Division is the newest addition to our Public Works Department. This division was created in response to the City’s 2015 Citizen Satisfaction Survey, which listed “traffic management” as the most important issue facing the City.
The Traffic Management Division consists of three members: a Transportation Manager, a Traffic Supervisor, and a Signal Technician. This team works closely with the City’s Office of Traffic Management, which is a group comprised of department directors and experts committed to improving vehicular, pedestrian, and bicycle safety and movement within the City Limits.
As of August 2017, our Traffic Management Division oversees the maintenance and management of 8 traffic signals, all school crosswalk signals, and more than 5,000 street signs. The division is housed out of Southlake Town Hall, located at 1400 Main Street.
