ELECTION DAY | Tuesday, November 3, 2020
On Election Day, voting will take place from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tarrant County will utilize countywide “vote centers” for the election, joining over 55 Texas counties that have adopted the system. The “vote centers” give residents the option of casting their vote at any polling location countywide on Election Day, rather than being limited to a preassigned location based on their precinct. A list of all vote center locations is posted on Tarrant County's website.
Voters are required to present an acceptable form of photo identification to vote in Texas elections. The acceptable form of photo identification may be expired for up to four years. Voters who do not possess an acceptable form of photo identification and cannot obtain one of the forms of acceptable photo identification due to a reasonable impediment, may present a supporting form of identification and execute a Reasonable Impediment Declaration, noting the voter’s reasonable impediment to obtaining an acceptable form of photo identification, and stating that the voter is the same person on the presented supporting form of identification.
