At Denton County Friends of the Family (DCFOF), we are dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive services to those impacted by rape, sexual abuse, and domestic violence while partnering with our community to promote safety, hope, healing, justice, and prevention.
DCFOF is the sole provider in Denton County of shelter and free outreach services to those who have been affected by relationship violence and/or sexual assault. DCFOF receives funding from federal, state, and local government agencies, the United Way of Denton County, corporations, foundations, groups, and individuals. The agency looks forward to carefully designed expansion of existing programs and new initiatives to increase awareness of DCFOF services and to help end the generational cycle of violence.
You can check out DCFOF’s most recent needs list for the items they are looking to have donated to the women and children they are serving this month. You can purchase/donate these items and drop them off at their Outreach Office located at 4845 I-35. You can also purchase items through their Amazon Smile Wishlist and have them shipped directly to their agency. Please make sure all donations are marked for the Marketing & Development department so we can ensure they get to the specific clients in need. If you'd prefer, you may also make a financial contribution instead.
DCFOF is always looking for fun and exciting ways to partner with our community. Our community partners invest in the safety, hope, healing, and justice for domestic violence and sexual assault victims and survivors in our community. You are essential to our success, and your investment directly saves lives!
