The Public Works Streets and Drainage Team maintains 209 miles of streets, 36 miles of drainage ditches, gutters, street curbs and medians, 2,662 curb inlets, 107 miles of drainage and 12 miles of box culvert pipe.
The Streets and Drainage Team also plays a vital role in disaster preparedness by salting icy roads and clearing tree limbs and debris from roadways after major storms. This emergency works often requires the Streets and Drainage Team to work night and weekend shifts to ensure our infrastructure is well maintained and safe for first responders, residents and visitors.
