The Mayor's Alliance for Unity and Culture meets monthly, generally on the 4th Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. To find information about upcoming and past meetings, visit the City's Agenda Center.

The purpose of the Mayor's Alliance Heart Talks initiative is to facilitate community connection through conversations that allow people to learn from one another, share personal experiences and convey thoughts about building community.
Members of the Mayor's Alliance recently participated in their first Heart Talks, and we invite you to listen in on their conversation and then use the Heart Talks toolkit to host your own and help build connections within our community.
The 2021 Virtual Celebrate Southlake event promoted the celebration of cultural diversity through performances by A-Cast, the Southlake Foundation, Southlake Sister Cities, and more.
The Mayor's Alliance for Unity and Culture recently teamed up with the Southlake Police Department to host an educational session for Southlake teens where they learned about the "why" behind traffic stops and what to expect if they ever get pulled over.
The Mayor’s Alliance for Unity and Culture hosted a Virtual Town Hall on July 29, 2020, with the Southlake Police Department to ask and answer questions Southlake residents have about the Police Department.

Southlake turned 64 on September 22, 2020, and to kick off the celebration, the Mayor’s Alliance for Unity and Culture hosted a city-wide poster contest, calling for submissions of original art. Winners were displayed throughout Southlake Town Square. Read more here.
