Trash and recycling services in Southlake are provided by Republic Services, and charged on your water bill. Residents may start, stop, or move their services by contacting Southlake Water Utilities Customer Service at 817-748-8051. New services may be set up using this form

New Resident Trash and Recycling Bins

Trash bins are not provided by Republic Services and residents of Southlake are required to provide their own trash bins. Trash bins should be 18 to 39 gallons and be made of plastic, metal, or fiberglass, and have handles so they can be lifted.  Trash bins can be larger than 39 gallons so long as the trash contents are bagged for easy handling. 

If you are a new resident to Southlake, when you set up a water service account a recycling cart will be provided to you by Republic Services (if there is not already one in the home).

Commercial Trash & Recycling Service

Each commercial business in Southlake has a separate contract with Republic Services for collection, and billing for commercial services is not handled through the city. To sign up for commercial trash collection, please contact Republic Services customer service at (817) 317-2424. If you would like to speak to city staff regarding Republic Services, please call (817) 748-8400.
