Welcome to the City of Southlake's 65th birthday webpage! Thanks for celebrating this milestone with us.
Sixty-five years ago, in 1956, the City of Southlake became incorporated with about 200 residents and a boundary of 1.62 square miles. Our downtown was at the intersection of Carroll and State Highway 114, where we would get our first stoplight. Since that time our town has grown quite a bit to 22 square miles and is home to more than 30,000 people, and a destination downtown with Southlake Town Square.
