Homework Help & College Prep

Struggling with one of your subjects or just need help with tonight's homework assignment? Brainfuse is available online from 2 p.m. - 11 p.m. daily, for access to live tutors skilled in your subject areas. Login online with your Southlake Library card and set up your own account.

Looking for college prep help? Brainfuse can help with test prep, application support, essay writing, and finding the right program for you.

Volunteers are a critical part of the Library's success. If you are between the ages of 13 and 18, you may help by shelving books, assisting with special projects, or serving as a member of Teen Library Friends. Register to volunteer at Volunteer Southlake.

Volunteers must follow the policies set by the Library which include:

  • The Library believes it is very important to offer flexible work opportunities to our volunteers, but it is necessary that we are given 24 hours notice when scheduling your hours, and Saturday hours are by approval only.
  • Your attitude and attire should reflect your pride in volunteering for the City of Southlake.

If you have any questions or would like to schedule a volunteer appointment, please contact our Volunteer Liaison Maria Cameron, by email or by phone at (817) 748-8247.
