This partnership is between the City of Keller, Tarrant County, and the City of Southlake.
This project seeks to improve mobility and alleviate traffic congestion by adding dedicated left-turn lanes from the north and south side of Pearson Lane onto FM 1709, including a traffic signal and pedestrian modifications.
Tarrant County selected the joint project to include in the 2021 bond program. The county covers 50% of the project costs, while the remaining 50% is divided between the City of Southlake and the City of Keller.
All funds will go toward design and construction services for the intersection improvements.
This TxDOT project is anticipated to start tentatively in the summer of 2023. This project is still under design and is currently projecting an estimated cost of $1.35 Million.
