Adopted FY 2023 Budget
What's ahead for FY 2023? More tax relief, cash-funded capital projects, and more investments into your family's safety and security and into our multi-year plans to make Southlake the best it can be.
The Adopted FY 2023 Budget Includes:
- A property tax rate of $0.3600, the fourth consecutive reduction and the lowest rate since the mid-1980s,
- A homestead exemption of 20%, the maximum allowed by law,
- Allocations that ensure the highest levels of safety and security for Southlake schools and for people who live, work or visit the City of Southlake,
- Investments into our City’s future through capital projects like a new vision for the Southlake Sports Complex and important updates to our drainage, water, and wastewater systems to keep them at top standards,
- Funding that delivers high-quality service for ongoing programs that advance the City's strategic goals and meet customer expectations,
- And enhanced mobility through expanded and improved roadways and sidewalks to better connect Southlake.
