Garbage and recycling rate changes went into effect on October 1, 2022, for all Southlake Water Utilities customers. As a result, residents will notice an increase in their November billing statements. The new refuse rates—reflected on Southlake Water Utility bills for residential customers, have increased by 9.5%. City Council also approved Republic Services’ request for an increase due to growing labor costs and inflation at their September 20, 2022, meeting. Residential collections increased by $1.62 on October 1, 2022, to $18.68, pretax.
Republic Waste Services is the City of Southlake's trash and recycling provider. Pick-up times are from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on your collection day. Trash is collected two times per week, and recycling is collected once per week.
