Investment Policy

The City of Southlake's Investment Policy outlines the city's strategies and guidelines for all investment activity, in order to achieve the goals of safety, liquidity, yield, and public trust. It is authorized by the City Council in accordance with Chapter 2256 of the Texas Government Code (the "Public Funds Investment Act"). 

The Investment Policy is submitted to the Government Treasurer's Organization of Texas as part of their biennial certification program, which recognizes outstanding examples of investment policies. Southlake has received this distinction each of the last three review periods. A copy of the most recent policy can be found below.
