Pursuant to Southlake City Charter, all city ordinances shall be considered at two separate Council meetings. A public hearing shall be conducted at the second reading of the ordinance. A notice setting out the time and place for the public hearing(s) will be posted on the website.

On February 7, 2017 immediately following the work session, but no earlier than 7:00 p.m. the City Council will conduct an initial public hearing in the Council Chambers, located at 1400 Main Street, Southlake, Texas on the following ordinance(s):

Ordinance No. 480-474A
An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 480, as amended, the comprehensive zoning ordinance of the City of Southlake, Texas; granting a zoning change on a certain tract or tracts of land within the City of Southlake, Texas being legally described as Lot 7, Block 1, River Oaks Addition, being approximately 2.141 acres from “S-P-2” generalized site plan district with “O-1” office district uses, to “S-P-2” generalized site plan district with “O-1” office district uses as depicted on the approved site plan attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit “B”, subject to the specific requirements contained in this ordinance; correcting the official zoning map; preserving all other portions of the zoning ordinance; determining that the public interest, morals and general welfare demand the zoning changes and amendments herein made; providing that this ordinance shall be cumulative of all ordinances; providing a severability clause; providing for a penalty for violations hereof; providing a savings clause; providing for publication in the official newspaper; and providing an effective date.

Ordinance No. 480-WWWW
An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 480, as amended, the comprehensive zoning ordinance of the City of Southlake, Texas; by adding provisions to section 37 – downtown district; providing that this ordinance shall be cumulative of all ordinances; providing a severability clause; providing for a penalty for violations hereof; providing a savings clause; providing for publication in pamphlet form; providing for publication in the official newspaper; and providing an effective date.

Ordinance No. 480-723
An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 480, as amended, the comprehensive zoning ordinance of the City of Southlake, Texas; granting a zoning change on a certain tract or tracts of land within the City of Southlake, Texas being legally described as Tract  3B02, William H. Martin Survey, Abstract No. 1068, City of Southlake, Tarrant County, Texas, approximately 1.607 acres from “AG” agricultural district to “SF-1A” single-family residential district as depicted on the approved concept plan attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit “B”, subject to the specific requirements contained in this ordinance; correcting the official zoning map; preserving all other portions of the zoning ordinance; determining that the public interest, morals and general welfare demand the zoning changes and amendments herein made; providing that this ordinance shall be cumulative of all ordinances; providing a severability clause; providing for a penalty for violations hereof; providing a savings clause; providing for publication in the official newspaper; and providing an effective date.

Ordinance No. 1167
An ordinance appointing an alternate municipal judge and authorizing the Mayor to execute an agreement with the alternate municipal judge; and providing an effective date.

Ordinance No. 480-513A
An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 480, as amended, the comprehensive zoning ordinance of the City of Southlake, Texas; granting a zoning change on a certain tract or tracts of land within the City of Southlake, Texas being legally described as Lot 15 of the Jj. G. Allen Survey, Addition No. 18, and being approximately 4.87 acres, and more fully and completely described in Exhibit “A” from “C” generalized site plan district limited to the “O-1” office district uses to “S-P-2” generalized site plan district limited to the “O-1” office district uses including an ambulatory surgery center,  as depicted on the approved site plan attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit “B”, subject to the specific requirements contained in this ordinance; correcting the official zoning map; preserving all other portions of the zoning ordinance; determining that the public interest, morals and general welfare demand the zoning changes and amendments herein made; providing that this ordinance shall be cumulative of all ordinances; providing a severability clause; providing for a penalty for violations hereof; providing a savings clause; providing for publication in the official newspaper; and providing an effective date.
