Utility Billing Application and Related Fees
Upon receiving a paid receipt for the waste-water impact fee and the plumbing permit, the homeowner shall visit the Utility Billing Office located in Suite 200 of Town Hall to add sewer service to their utility billing account. The sewer tap fee will be assessed at this time, and will be billed as a lump sum on the next month's water bill.
The sewer tap fee is $1,700. The tap fee may or may not be applicable depending on whether or not there is an existing tap from the main line to the property line available.
If a tap is not available, the $1,700 tap fee would not apply, and the homeowner would be required to contract with a licensed plumber to make both the tap and the final connection to the residence. In this case, the homeowner would pay a $75 inspection fee (in lieu of the tap fee), plus the wastewater impact fee in Step 2.
Please contact the
Utility Billing department with any questions you may have about your sewer bill.
